Case Index FAQ's
Why is Date of Birth information not available?
The Court is prohibited from displaying date of birth information pursuant to California Rule of Court 2.507 (Electronic access to court
calendars, indexes, and registers of actions.)
How often is the data in the Online Case Index updated?
The data is updated each night following a business work day. Data entered into the live system
by 6:00 p.m. is available the following morning at 6:00 a.m.
When is the Online Case Index available?
The Online Case Index is available each day. It may be unavailable after-hours for maintenance--we will
post a notice when the website or Online Index is unavailable due to planned maintenance.
What types of cases are listed in the Online Case Index?
All non-confidential, non-sealed, case types are available (Civil, Criminal, Family Law, Probate,
Small Claims, Traffic, etc.). Certain parties in the cases may be excluded from display.
What years does the Online Case Index cover?
2000 to the present date. For case information prior to 2000, please contact the court.
