Criminal division

The Criminal Division has jurisdiction over felonies, misdemeanors, and some infractions. The Division maintains an index of filings and record of criminal dispositions.

  • Felony is a crime punishable by death, or imprisonment in the state prison or county jail and fines.
  • Misdemeanor is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail, or by fine, or both, except in cases where a different punishment is prescribed by any law of this state.

Criminal cases are handled by Departments 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7.

Delinquent Fines

If your fine is delinquent and has been assigned to Revenue Recovery (the court’s collection agency) all questions must be direct to Revenue Recovery at 530-621-5760.
