Our Mission

To preserve and enhance the rule of law in El Dorado County by providing all persons a fair, efficient, and accessible forum for resolving disputes, protecting public safety, and righting wrongs.

Local Rules

Effective January 1, 2014

In addition to these local rules, El Dorado Superior Court enforces all applicable state statutes and the California Rules of Court. Counsel and self-represented litigants are responsible for knowing and complying with applicable state statutes and the California Rules of Court. In general, the local rules do not contain rules that are duplicative of state statutes or the California Rules of Court.
