Probate Tentative Rulings

APPEARANCES
No appearances will be necessary unless the tentative ruling states that appearances are required. If the ruling requires appearances, personal appearances will be required unless the ruling indicates that telephonic appearances are allowed or unless authorization for a telephonic appearance has been approved by the Court prior to 4:00 PM on the Tuesday before the hearing.

ARGUMENT
No argument will be permitted unless counsel have read the full text of the tentative ruling. Any party objecting to the tentative ruling must notify the Court that argument is requested by 4:00 PM on the Tuesday prior to the hearing by calling the Court at (530) 573-3349. Parties objecting to the tentative ruling shall also notify all parties of the objection and the intent to appear and argue by 4:00 PM on the Tuesday prior to the hearing.
If a telephonic appearance has been permitted by the ruling or authorized by the Court, the telephonic appearance may be arranged by contacting Court Call at (310) 342-0888 or (888) 882-6878. Court Call must be contacted no later than 5:00 PM on the Tuesday prior to the hearing.

PROBATE MINUTE ORDERS
The Court does not routinely mail copies of probate minute orders to parties or counsel after hearing. Any party requesting a copy of a probate minute order may do so by requesting a copy at the clerk’s office or by written request. Any written request for a probate minute order shall include a self-addressed stamped envelope and the appropriate fee for copies.
